contextual story analysis

My sister's keeper written by Jodi Picoult probably is my first english novel i had ever about cancer story. i love cancer novel or story so much but usually i read them in mandarin version because quite a lot of Asia novels are more into "sad" "be strong" that kind of story. i love them and until now i dontknow why i so addicted to them, maybe i like to imagine how strong the person Or how the person brave enough to face all the obstacles even the ending of story not happy ending.
BTW, this story started with a woman named Sara Fitzgerald' daughter named Kate is just two years old when she is diagnosed with a rate form of leukaemia. Reeling with the helpless shock of it,Sara made a test result. Then the test results come back time and again to show that no on in their family is match to Kate.If they are to find a donor for the crucial bone marrow transplant she needs, there is only one option:
creating another baby. (specifically designed to save her sister)
For Sara, is seem the ideal solution. Not only does Kate live, but she gets a beautiful new daughter, named Anna.
until the moment Anna hands Sara the papers that will  rock her world.Because, aged thirteen,Anna had decided that she doesn't want to help Kate live anymore.she is suing her parents for the rights to her body.

i will update the metaphor as soon as possible.
